A Bali garden is never finished — it is either maintained or it is disappearing under its own growth. I have been a head gardener on this island for 15 years, and I can tell you the exact timeline: skip three weeks of care in the wet season and the lawn is ankle-high, the bougainvillea has swallowed the wall and the frangipani is dropping leaves into the pool skimmer. Our maintenance plans exist so you never see that version of your garden. The same crew comes on the same day each week, works through a checklist written for your specific garden, and loads every clipping into our pickup before they leave.
What's Included in Every Visit
Lawn Mowing & Edging
Mowing at the right height for your grass type — Manila grass shorter, Pearl grass longer — with clean edges along paths and beds. Every 7–10 days in the rainy season, every 10–14 days in the dry.
Pruning & Shaping
Hedges, shrubs and flowering plants pruned for shape and flowering, not just hacked back. Bougainvillea and hibiscus bloom on new wood — we prune so they keep flowering.
Weeding & Bed Care
Beds hand-weeded, soil loosened, mulch topped up where it is thinning. We spot pests and fungus early, before they take a whole bed.
Feeding & Green Waste Removal
Slow-release fertiliser on a seasonal schedule, and every frond, clipping and weed taken away in our own pickup the same day — nothing burned, nothing dumped in a corner.
Why a Fixed Plan Beats Calling Someone When It Looks Bad
The economics are simple. A garden rescued from two months of neglect needs a full crew day — heavy cutting, lawn renovation, sometimes replanting — and that costs more than three months of a regular plan. Worse, tropical plants do not recover instantly: a hedge cut back hard looks bare for six weeks. Rental villas in Canggu and Seminyak cannot afford those six weeks of bad photos and guest reviews.
A plan also means problems get caught while they are small. Brown patch fungus on a lawn is a one-visit treatment if spotted in week one, and a full returfing job if left a month — we wrote about it in our rainy season lawn guide. If your garden needs more than care — new beds, a new lawn, an irrigation system so it survives between visits — we fold that into the plan as a one-off project with its own quote.
How We Work
Send photos on WhatsApp
A few wide shots of the garden are enough. We reply the same day with a plan suggestion and a monthly price.
Free first walk-through
We visit, measure the lawn, list the plants and agree a visit checklist specific to your garden.
Same crew, same day, every week
Your crew arrives on schedule with all tools, works the checklist and sends you photos when done.
Monthly check-in
Once a month we review what the season needs next — feeding, pest treatment, replanting — and agree any extras before doing them.
What It Costs
Plans start from IDR 750,000 per month for one visit per week at a typical villa garden up to roughly 300 m². Bi-weekly plans start from IDR 450,000 per month, and large or complex gardens are quoted from photos. A one-off cleanup for a garden that has gotten away starts from IDR 500,000. All materials like fertiliser are included in the plan price — see the full pricing page.
